LOS ANGELES, CA — June 26, 2026 — On his new single "The Devil Made Me Do It," Los Angeles artist and comedian Jules the Lion celebrates one of humanity's favorite traditions: knowing better and doing it anyway.

Blending Jules’ self-aware sense of humor and versatile hip hop and R&B delivery, the track transforms temptation into a dance floor confession. Built around an infectious trap groove and the refrain "I didn't wanna do it but the devil made me do it," the song explores the creative excuses people invent when they've already decided what they're going to do.

"I make a lot of jokes about how ridiculous hookup culture is," says Jules. "And I've definitely contributed to the mess. I wanted to make a bop that people could play while making bad decisions. I want to be that little devil sitting on your shoulder whispering 'do it, do it' while you're answering the 'u up?' text or ruining your diet.”

“(The Devil Made Me) Do It” arrives just in time for Pride season, summer nightlife, and anyone who needs a soundtrack for their bad behavior. It will be available on all major streaming platforms on June 26, 2026.
